We’re excited that you want to join our team, and we want to hear what you’ve got! We have a pretty simple Video Audition process, and this page has all of the resources that you will need! Just scroll down to the position that you’d like to audition for, use the tools there to record a quick video of you playing/singing along with the Audition Track, and then fill out the form at the bottom of the page and upload your video! Be sure to read through all of the instructions and details below about the audition, rehearsals and reminders.
Each section below has three things that you’ll need for your audition:
- Chord Chart / Lyric Sheet: click on the rectangle button to open the chord chart (or lyric sheet for vocal auditions), the sheet will open in a different tab so you won’t lose your place on the page!
- Full Track: the top audio track is the full track. Use this to listen for your specific parts.
- Backing Track: the audio track on the bottom is a backing track with a metronome (we call it a click track) added, and your specific instrument removed. This is the track that you should record yourself playing over! We recommend playing the audio from a source like computer or tablet and then recording with some kind of camera or phone.
- REMINDER: submit video at the bottom of this page so you don't run into any issues with file size trying to submit or send in elsewhere.
**DISCLAIMER** – Before you audition, we want you to know up front that our team has mandatory Wednesday night rehearsals from 6:45-8:30 for Sunday mornings. The only team position that doesn’t have to be at rehearsals is stage crew. Please feel free to ask us any follow-up questions about rehearsals before or after you send in your audition!
Your audition will be due 2 weeks after you have received these audition materials and communicated with a team leader about auditioning.
