JRNY KIDS COVID-19 PROCEDURES

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY!

Our Kids Teammates are taking extensive precautions and following government guidelines to ensure that our kids rooms are safe and spacious.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines, we ask that children only attend in person if they do not reside with anyone who is considered to be “high risk” or if they have been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Please stay home if your child show signs of illness (fever, cough, runny nose, etc.).

WHAT TO EXPECT

MASKS

In an effort to honor our public officials and love our neighbors well, we ask that you and your family wear a mask when social distancing is not an option. Our Kids Teammates will be wearing masks while they are serving! We highly encourage your children to wear masks while in JRNY Kids. If you would like your child to wear a mask while in JRNY Kids, please be sure to provide one for them.

CHECK-IN

  • We’re trying to limit the amount of personal belongings, so in an effort to do so please remove your young children from their car seats upon arrival. We ask that strollers and car seats are not kept in the JRNY Kids area, so you may line them up on the back wall of the auditorium.
  • There will be Kids Teammates that will welcome families at the check-in desks with sanitation options and perform temperature checks. We highly encourage families to check temperatures prior to attending the experiences. If a child registers a fever, he/she will not be permitted to the JRNY Kids area. If a child gets sick during the experience, he/she will be escorted to the check-out area and await parent pick-up (parents will be notified immediately via text).
  • Our Kids Teammates will guide the kids to their designated rooms.

CHANGES

  • Water fountains will be off-limits.
  • Personal items are not permitted (blankets, stuffed animals, toys, sippy cups). Dixie cups will be available should your child need a drink!
  • For preschool-aged children, goldfish will continue to be provided with gloves on.
  • If your child requires a pacifier, it should be confined to a closed container or bag.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Kids Teammates will receive a temperature check upon arrival.
  • There will be a designated set of toys. Additional sanitizing measures will be executed through the rooms before, during, and after the experience in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
  • We ask that upon picking up your child, please do not “hang out” around the kids area. Our intentional movement will help control the flow of traffic, and encourage others to follow these procedures.
