PHASED REOPENING

TENTATIVE PHASED REOPENING PLAN

REOPENing PHASE 1

CURRENT PHASE, STARTING JUNE 7TH

Because we desire to resume meeting physically with excellence and on mission, we will reopen our campuses in phases.

On June 7th, we will reopen our Phoenixville and Montgomeryville Campuses at 50% capacity to allow for social distancing. Sunday times will be 9:00 and 10:30A. (The Phoenixville campus will be open for our Phoenixville, Limerick, and Royersford area attenders. Our Montgomeryville campus will host attenders from our Montgomeryville and Plymouth Meeting campuses.) JRNY Kids classrooms will remain closed during this phase.

Also,

  • All experiences will continue to be offered online (including JRNY Kids)
  • Home Groups will have the option to meet online or in person
  • Individuals will have the option to host Sunday Live Stream House Parties

REOPENing PHASE 2

ONCE DECLARED “GREEN” BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF PA

Guidelines and criteria from the CDC, Johns Hopkins and Commonwealth of PA will continue to be followed.

  • We will re-open all JRNY Campuses (in phases, all 5 by the end of July)
  • We will re-open JRNY Kids classes
  • All experiences will continue to be offered online
  • Individuals will still have the option to host Sunday Live Stream House Parties
  • Regular experiences & events will resume (Welcome to Church, Fight Night, in-person Home Groups, etc.)

THESE PLANS WILL ADJUST IF CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRE

It’s important to JRNY Church that you and your family are safe, healthy and feel great about returning to in-person experiences. We will work to ensure all our facilities are comprehensively cleaned, sanitized and safe for your family. We plan to offer a spacious onsite worship experience with appropriate distancing when we return.

Please consider that our gatherings will look different at the onset. There will be a maximum number of individuals permitted to enter the building at one time. JRNY Kids programs will continue to be offered online, and no children’s classes will be available at our facilities during the first phase of re-opening.

FAQ

As we begin our first week in Phase 1, we are going to respectfully and with caution start meeting in person at 2 of our 5 campuses this Sunday. We will start hosting people at our Montgomeryville and Phoenixville Campuses for a 9:00A & 10:30A experience. Here we’ve answered some questions that you may have. You can also check out this announcement from Pastor Steve with more information by clicking HERE!

Who can come?

Anyone that feels comfortable resuming church in person.

What if my campus isn’t open yet?

If you normally attend Plymouth Meeting, you will combine at the Montgomeryville campus. If you normally attend the Limerick or Royersford campus, you will join at the Phoenixville location.

I’m new, what do I do?

Normally, we have hosts that give tours and hand out info cards to help acclimate you with our building. Currently, we do not have anyone serving in those positions, but our staff will still be present to give directional information as needed. We would still love to know that you joined us and we have a gift to give you. At the end of the experience, there will be instruction to fill out an online information card. As you are leaving, please stop by the 1st Time Guest Desk for your gift.

What will my kids do?

If your kids will be with you, we encourage you to have a device and headphones ready for them to watch the JRNY Kids experience during the sermon. You can download the experience HERE if your child will be watching on a device without data.

A bag with craft materials will also be provided for you to grab for your child on your way in! If you have an infant, we are utilizing our current infant nurseries as mom’s rooms with seating set up 6ft apart.

Do I need a ticket?

No, you will not need a ticket for church. However, we are seating at 50% capacity with separated chair sections for social distancing, so we will be seating first come, first serve.

Do I have to wear a mask?

We would encourage you to wear a mask when interacting socially in the parking lot and hallways. However, you are not required to wear a mask during the experience.

Can we still watch from home?

Yes! If you are part of the vulnerable population or still don’t feel comfortable resuming church in person right now, we will still have a complete Church Online experience for you and your family.

Can you place me on the serve schedule?

We aren’t scheduling serve positions in this initial phase, we are looking to resume serving of some form, as we enter the next phase.
